Photography meets Fine Art

International Collaboration

Amidst everything terrible that’s going on in the world, we bring you a good news story.

When a Painter from England and a Photographer from Norway get together to produce stunning prints and cards.

Mo Hywel-Smith & Marit Jenssen

Marit Jenssen is well known throughout the global ETT community for her stunning photographs of her ETTS, Maya and Marlon. They are often pictured out on their adventures through the forest, alongside the lakes and amongst the mountains of Norway.

“I became aware of Marit Jenssen and her beautiful photography through the ETT community, and asked if I could used some of her photographs to produce digitally enhanced watercolours. She kindly agreed and here we have the result.”

About Mo & her work

“After I retired some years ago, I decided to try things that I hadn’t had time to do whilst working.

One of the things I tried was watercolour painting.

I turned up at a class with nothing more than an HB2 pencil. Kind people in the class lent me paints, paper and brushes and a very talented teacher started me off on my journey.

I have now been painting for about 15 years!

I have sold paintings, produced cards for my own use and now have made cards to hopefully sell and donate profits to English Toy Terrier Welfare & Rescue
